Community Relations Coordinator - Indianapolis Hybrid

Build Pinnacle’s Indiana OTP/MAT referral network through account management, admissions growth, and community outreach. Develop territory partnerships across behavioral-health and related community settings.

Description

  • Lead growth and market development for an assigned state or multi-county OTP/MAT territory
  • Build referral relationships with courts, corrections, hospitals, emergency departments, primary care providers, behavioral-health organizations, social services, and community groups
  • Manage referral accounts while increasing qualified referrals and admissions
  • Support public and community outreach that strengthens brand awareness and helps reduce stigma
  • Partner closely with treatment-center leaders and clinical teams across the territory
  • Meet referral sources in person while planning territory coverage and prioritizing calls
  • Record field activities promptly, accurately, and completely in the CRM
  • Track referral conversion, account retention, referral satisfaction, and market presence
  • Follow EKRA, the Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and applicable state requirements
  • Safeguard patient confidentiality and present services, outcomes, and credentials accurately
  • Escalate suspected compliance issues, conflicts of interest, and improper referral arrangements
  • Drive throughout the assigned territory in a personal vehicle, including occasional overnight and multi-day trips

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Three to five years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or community outreach
  • Record of managing a defined territory or account portfolio with measurable growth or retention outcomes
  • Professional referral-network experience is strongly preferred
  • Valid state driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Access to a reliable personal vehicle
  • Working knowledge of OTP and MAT clinical and regulatory practices, including methadone and buprenorphine treatment models
  • Strong consultative selling and relationship-management capabilities
  • Disciplined approach to territory planning and account prioritization
  • Ability to independently manage a large, geographically dispersed account portfolio
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or a comparable CRM, Microsoft Office, and standard business communication tools
  • Peer recovery specialist certification, CADC credential, or comparable substance-use-disorder certification is preferred but not required
