Collections Specialist
Handle overdue loan accounts for GoodLeap’s personal finance team, helping customers bring payments up to date. The role includes inbound and outbound calls, collection targets, and accurate account records.
Description
- Collect outstanding payments as an individual contributor on the personal finance team
- Review overdue accounts and work with customers to bring loans current
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly collection targets and metrics
- Contact customers by inbound and outbound calls to resolve debts
- Follow GoodLeap’s collections policies and procedures
- Record amounts owed and how long accounts have been delinquent
Requirements
- At least 1–2 years of direct experience in credit and collections
- Knowledge of sales, negotiation, and persuasion techniques
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Telemarketing experience with financial products preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Self-motivated, with a strong focus on goals
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Professional manner
