Cloud Infrastructure Manager, Ford Energy (Hybrid)

Lead Azure, Google Cloud, and SAP S/4HANA operations for Ford Energy. Build secure, resilient infrastructure supporting battery storage and electrification supply chains.

Description

  • Lead engineering, delivery, lifecycle management, and operational support for Ford Energy platforms across Azure and Google Cloud
  • Oversee the architecture, stability, disaster recovery, and high-performance hosting of SAP S/4HANA workloads
  • Advance cloud optimization, workload migration, automation, infrastructure as code, and ongoing improvement
  • Apply FinOps practices to track cloud usage, control costs, and govern resources
  • Own availability, capacity planning, backup and recovery, business continuity, and major incident response
  • Manage managed service providers and cloud platform account teams against service levels and accountability requirements
  • Collaborate with Information Security and governance teams on security baselines, access controls, and audit preparation
  • Lead around-the-clock production operations and reliability for mission-critical cloud environments
  • Establish ITIL-aligned incident, problem, change management, and root-cause analysis practices
  • Oversee monitoring, logging, observability, and performance tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog
  • Direct automated patching, vulnerability remediation, and hardware and software lifecycle tracking
  • Coordinate blended operations across internal teams, managed service providers, and global vendor support channels

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of progressively responsible experience in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, and operations
  • At least 3 years of dedicated cloud leadership or management experience in enterprise environments
  • Advanced hands-on and architectural expertise with enterprise Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform environments
  • Relevant certifications are preferred
  • Demonstrated experience managing infrastructure, database sizing, high availability, and disaster recovery for SAP S/4HANA or other complex cloud-hosted enterprise ERP systems
  • Strong knowledge of compute, virtualization, Linux and Windows operating systems, enterprise storage, networking, backup and recovery, and infrastructure automation
  • Practical experience with Terraform and Ansible
  • Experience managing cloud vendors, managed service providers, and cloud budgets through FinOps practices
  • Experience in automotive, energy, manufacturing, or supply chain technology is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
