Clinical Associate, Electrophysiology (Texas Remote)

Support Abbott’s electrophysiology products in hospitals and EP labs across Texas. Provide procedural coverage, technical training, troubleshooting, and physician support for cardiac arrhythmia care.

Description

  • Deliver engineering, sales, educational, and technical support for Abbott electrophysiology products
  • Provide clinical and technical assistance in hospitals treating cardiac arrhythmias
  • Cover regional electrophysiology procedures in EP labs and operating rooms
  • Serve as the clinical liaison between healthcare professionals and the business
  • Build and maintain trusted clinical relationships with customers
  • Develop comprehensive expertise in EP products, technical specifications, software, and capabilities
  • Promote the safe and effective use of cardiac mapping, diagnostic, and therapy systems
  • Partner with electrophysiology sales representatives
  • Organize and lead regional training seminars
  • Contribute to clinical studies and data collection
  • Investigate and resolve product or procedural issues
  • Lead or assist with new-product in-service training and demonstrations
  • Continually strengthen engineering, sales, and technical capabilities
  • Track industry developments, regulatory requirements, Abbott and competitor products, market trends, and strategic priorities
  • Share market insights and customer feedback with management
  • Travel occasionally for in-person instruction and live procedure support
  • Track performance and report progress to the manager

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Meet all vendor credentialing requirements, potentially including COVID-19 vaccination
  • Ability to provide clinical and technical support in hospitals, electrophysiology labs, and operating rooms
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time
  • Ability to drive a personal vehicle or company car or truck
  • Ability to satisfy medical surveillance requirements
