Architect (Full-Time) – MERKUR GROUP, Germany (Hybrid)

Support MERKUR GROUP’s residential, office, commercial, and event-property projects from needs assessment through handover. Coordinate planning and construction, develop practical solutions, and assist with due diligence for existing and new-build projects.

Description

  • Manage renovations, construction measures, and building projects from initial needs assessment through completion and handover
  • Support existing-building and new-build projects across service phases 1–8
  • Advise executives on planning and implementing requested construction measures
  • Coordinate collaboration between MERKUR GROUP’s internal clients and project stakeholders at MERKUR Immobilien
  • Create comprehensive concepts and practical structural solutions
  • Present concepts and recommended solutions to executives and managing directors
  • Assist with due diligence activities used to determine purchase prices

Requirements

  • Degree in Architecture (Dipl.-Ing., Bachelor’s, or Master’s) or an equivalent qualification
  • Professional experience managing and coordinating building construction projects
  • Working knowledge of applicable building regulations and technical standards
  • Building submission authorization is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of design, permitting, and detailed construction planning
  • Understanding of structural and technical relationships
  • Creative and solutions-oriented working style
  • Proficiency with MS Office and CAD
  • CAFM experience is preferred
  • Willingness to travel for projects and specific assignments, including internationally, for approximately 25% of the time
  • Professional and confident communication style
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively
  • Good command of English
