Accounts Payable Officer, Sydney (Hybrid)

Manage Objective Corporation’s accounts payable operations from end to end, including invoices, reconciliations, expenses and supplier queries. This hybrid role is based in Sydney.

Description

  • Oversee the full accounts payable function.
  • Process invoices and assign accurate account codes.
  • Pay invoices according to agreed business terms.
  • Administer the purchase order process.
  • Respond to accounts payable questions from internal teams and external parties.
  • Support month-end work, including accruals and prepayments.
  • Complete month-end reconciliations and reporting.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and business stakeholders.
  • Support or manage Concur administration and expense processing.
  • Support or manage credit card administration, reconciliations and reporting.
  • Review and update accounts payable procedures.
  • Undertake role-related projects and other ad hoc work.
  • Report to the Finance Manager.
  • Manage accounts payable processes and reconciliations across the APAC region.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Experience with a recognised accounting platform, such as NetSuite.
  • Experience using Concur for expense management.
  • At least three years of end-to-end accounts payable experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to organise tasks and set priorities effectively.
  • Able to work with limited supervision.
  • Proactive, motivated and ready to take initiative.
