Relationship Manager, Retail Annuity Distribution
Lead Talcott Financial Group’s U.S. retail annuity distribution by developing advisor relationships, generating sales, and delivering product training. The role includes 70% domestic travel and 30% home-office calling.
विवरण
- Build and expand Talcott’s retail distribution infrastructure
- Create short- and long-term strategies to strengthen client relationships, generate new business, and increase revenue
- Partner across functions to assess how product and service improvements affect company strategy and operations
- Work with the Head of Retail Distribution to create business plans that support sales and growth targets
- Promote Talcott annuities to IMO marketers, independent agents, and independent financial advisors
- Spend 70% of working time meeting in person with IMO principals, marketers, and agents, and 30% making outbound calls from the home office
- Maintain marketer and producer relationships while sharing market, industry, and product updates
- Find and develop new advisors while deepening relationships with current advisors
- Generate sales through outbound calls, webinars, field initiatives, and face-to-face meetings
- Maintain regular contact with assigned agents and marketers
- Develop, launch, and follow up on email campaigns
- Organize and lead national conference calls, webinars, GoToMeetings, and campaigns
- Deliver individual and group product and sales training through seminars, workshops, and conferences
- Allocate resources within the assigned territory through coordinated marketing and sales initiatives
- Manage the assigned budget and expense account
- Update the CRM daily with contacts, notes, activities, and follow-up actions
- Uphold a consistently professional standard of conduct
- Use thorough knowledge of fixed and fixed indexed annuities to explain their role in clients’ broader financial plans
आवश्यकताएँ
- At least five years of relevant sales experience in the industry
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Digital and virtual capabilities, with the ability to contribute to the development of future systems
- Experience selling annuities is strongly preferred
- Experience with the IMO distribution channel is strongly preferred
- A state insurance license is strongly preferred
- Comfort using computer applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with annuity illustration software is preferred
- Self-directed and able to work independently
- Demonstrated sales ability and strong presentation skills
- Ability to build and sustain productive professional relationships
- Ability to manage competing priorities while meeting defined sales and marketing goals
