General Accounting Manager - Milan, Tennessee

विवरण
- Direct accounting operations and provide leadership with timely, accurate financial information
- Lead and assess accounting and finance activities, aligning priorities and performance indicators with business objectives
- Oversee general ledger accounting, accounts payable, payroll, disbursements, revenue recognition, invoicing, intercompany transactions, and account reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements covering profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow
- Evaluate profitability, working capital, income, expenses, earnings, and overall financial performance
- Lead annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and tax planning and compliance activities
- Deliver financial analysis, technical guidance, and responses to business questions for leadership
- Work with department leaders to improve financial understanding across the business
- Investigate root causes, enhance accounting processes, and implement effective financial controls
- Coach and develop Finance team members
- Maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, applicable laws, company policies, and internal controls
- Promote a safe, harmonious workplace and uphold company standards
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct
- Complete additional duties as assigned
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field is required.
- At least seven years of accounting experience, including two or more years as an Accounting Manager or comparable finance leader
- Required experience in manufacturing, preferably with a multi-location industrial products organization
- Strong command of U.S. GAAP and IFRS accounting principles
- Experience managing general ledger accounting, payroll, accounts payable, disbursements, revenue recognition, invoicing, intercompany transactions, and account reconciliations
- Experience producing profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports
- Substantial experience with planning, budgeting, forecasting, and tax compliance
- Prior supervisory experience and a practical, hands-on management approach
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capability, including PivotTables, SUMIFS, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas, macros, filters, and template development
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications
- Extensive experience with ERP systems
- Strong analytical ability, with comfort moving between strategic analysis and transactional detail
- A continuous-improvement approach and the ability to diagnose root causes and implement effective solutions
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and relationship-building abilities
- High integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to meet demanding deadlines while maintaining excellent work standards
