Senior Full-Stack Java Engineer – Workforce Management (Canada Remote)
Build scalable Java, React, and Node.js workforce management solutions for Miratech’s enterprise clients. Develop WFM services, applications, integrations, and deployment pipelines.
Tavsif
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services with Java, Spring Boot, and domain-driven design practices
- Create microservices for forecasting, staffing calculations, schedule generation, shift management, adherence, exceptions, and operational reporting
- Build responsive workforce management applications with TypeScript and React
- Design and consume REST APIs through an API-first development approach
- Establish and maintain OpenAPI/Swagger contracts and versioning standards
- Implement event-driven workflows for schedule changes, agent states, queue metrics, forecasts, and adherence events
- Connect WFM capabilities with CX platforms, ACD and routing systems, HR and payroll systems, identity services, and enterprise data platforms
- Design workforce and operational data models in PostgreSQL and other relational databases
- Containerize services and support cloud-native deployment patterns and configuration management
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, automated testing, quality gates, and repeatable deployment processes
- Investigate production issues and improve performance, batch processing, concurrency, scalability, and reliability
- Contribute to code reviews, technical design sessions, architecture discussions, sprint planning, and continuous improvement
- Work collaboratively with Product, Operations Research, QA, DevOps, UX, and other stakeholders
Talablar
- At least 8 years of full-stack software development experience, including responsibility for production applications
- Advanced hands-on experience with Java and Spring technologies, especially Spring Boot, REST services, security, and persistence
- Strong frontend development background with Angular or React, TypeScript, component-based design, state management, and modern testing practices
- Working knowledge of Node.js for integrations, lightweight services, build tooling, or supporting components
- Demonstrated ability to design REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven services in distributed environments
- Strong SQL skills and experience creating efficient data models in PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
- Experience building, deploying, or supporting cloud-based and containerized applications
- Good command of English with effective written and verbal communication in cross-functional teams
- Experience with NICE WFM, Verint, Calabrio, Genesys WFM, Aspect/Alvaria, or comparable workforce management platforms
- Experience connecting WFM systems with ACD, routing, HR, payroll, CRM, or data warehouse platforms
- Experience using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or comparable messaging and event-streaming technologies
- Exposure to workforce analytics, optimization methods, or operational research concepts
- Familiarity with Jenkins, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, observability tools, and secure software delivery practices
