Remote Compliance Advisor at Gainwell Technologies

Tavsif

  • Act as a subject-matter expert on security procedures and audit compliance
  • Manage responses to SOC 1, SOC 2, and NIST 800-53 external audits
  • Assist with threat and vulnerability management activities
  • Perform recurring identity and access reviews
  • Verify that application security practices satisfy business needs and protect information
  • Direct the deployment of access controls so only authorized, trained users can access systems, data, and programs
  • Supervise the policy-compliant destruction of highly sensitive confidential information
  • Create and put into practice comprehensive security procedures
  • Lead the security administrator team in meeting client security procedures
  • Maintain compliance with program security requirements spanning personnel, physical, and administrative safeguards
  • Coordinate corporate security initiatives in line with client, government, and company policies
  • Provide leadership and day-to-day guidance to less experienced staff
  • Create, coordinate, and deliver security awareness and education programs
  • Investigate, or oversee investigations into, losses and security violations and recommend remediation
  • Carry out approved corrective actions and prepare summaries for senior management
  • Evaluate emerging technologies to improve security solutions and keep them aligned with industry and company standards

Talablar

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline is preferred
  • Experience in a HIPAA-regulated environment; Medicaid experience is preferred
  • Experience with enterprise security systems and implementation procedures
  • Experience applying corporate and government security regulations
  • Experience using company security software products
  • Experience with domain structures, user authentication, user profiles, and digital signatures
  • Strong presentation abilities and proficiency with business solutions software
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for designing, creating, and testing security systems
  • Leadership ability to guide and mentor less experienced colleagues
  • Strong research capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and shift between tasks quickly
  • Video cameras are required for all interviews and throughout the first week of orientation
  • This is a remote-based opportunity for candidates in the United States
