Commercial Portfolio Analyst - Hybrid

Evaluate complex agricultural commercial and real estate loans while supporting credit decisions and portfolio management. Serve customers, maintain loan portfolios, and contribute to business development for American AgCredit.

Tavsif

  • Evaluate complex commercial and real estate loan applications, including high-volume and large-credit requests
  • Service commercial and real estate loans through regular customer contact
  • Develop new business through structured marketing and business development initiatives
  • Manage an assigned portfolio of operating and term loans, including renewals
  • Interview applicants and prepare loan applications, financial statements, and budgets
  • Create spreadsheet analyses of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements
  • Enter required information into loan origination and processing systems
  • Assess credit and financial information, identify additional investigation needs, analyze supporting materials, prepare summaries, present findings, and provide creditworthiness opinions
  • Recommend loan approval or denial, or make decisions within delegated lending authority
  • Determine and review required legal documentation
  • Verify financial statements, examine credit reports, and gather relevant information
  • Explain credit philosophy, stock requirements, loan products, and related financial services to customers
  • Prepare servicing actions and follow up on assigned portfolio activities
  • Coordinate with title companies
  • Monitor loan processes and support loan officers with customer service matters
  • Independently respond to information and assistance requests
  • Perform collateral inspections
  • Represent the Association at public events
  • Deliver credit training and development programs for employees
  • Participate in employee loan committee and loan committee meetings
  • Work under the general direction of the VP-Regional Credit Underwriting or an assigned designee

Talablar

  • Five to seven years of progressively responsible banking or related agricultural lending experience
  • Bachelor's degree in agribusiness, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent education
  • Strong credit assessment and analytical capabilities
  • Working knowledge of agricultural lending principles and practices, as well as Association and Farm Credit System policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of FCA regulations and applicable Association and district policies and procedures
  • Proven ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong persuasion and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency with personal computers, word-processing tools, email, and spreadsheet software
  • Ability to perform basic office duties in a standard office environment
  • Availability during established business hours, with occasional evenings or weekends as needed
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship and transfers are unavailable
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 pounds
