Asset Finance Collections Representative II - Akron OH Onsite
Manage delinquent commercial accounts in Huntington's asset finance portfolio. Negotiate payment solutions, assess credit information, and recommend default, modification, repossession, or transfer actions.
Tavsif
- Oversee delinquency levels across an assigned portfolio in the 30–89-day aging range
- Contact delinquent customers by phone and letter to recover overdue balances
- Reconcile moderately complex payment and billing records
- Negotiate appropriate payment arrangements with customers
- Review and analyze credit information to determine action on problem accounts
- Recommend repossession, modification, default, or referral to late-stage collections or Financial Recovery
- Work with program and dealer partners and servicing sources on account issues and reconciliations
- Determine when customers should enter default status and follow established procedures
- Coordinate with third-party providers to manage delinquency levels
- Communicate with customers, representatives, and internal partners to resolve delinquency matters
Talablar
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least three years of collections experience, preferably in commercial collections
- Clear written and verbal communication, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented setting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Sound judgment and timely decision-making skills
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Excel
- Current authorization to work full time in the United States
