Opis

  • Review Atlas and Nebula to find overlaps, gaps, and opportunities to consolidate.
  • Guide the development of a unified design system architecture for products and platforms.
  • Set standards for component governance, lifecycle, documentation, contributions, ownership, and adoption.
  • Direct the unified design system roadmap and related decisions.
  • Connect design and engineering teams working on the design system.
  • Work with engineers to turn design components into production code efficiently.
  • Improve design and development workflows to reduce duplication and raise implementation quality.
  • Build and maintain collaboration practices using libraries, tokens, and specifications.
  • Research and introduce tools for design systems and front-end collaboration.
  • Explore AI-supported design and development tools.
  • Create processes that speed up prototyping and ease design-engineering collaboration.
  • Join product kickoffs with Product Design, Product Management, Curriculum, and Engineering.
  • Assess initiatives for design system scalability and consistency across platforms.
  • Decide which patterns and components belong in the shared system and which should stay product-specific.
  • Support adoption with guidance, office hours, and training.
  • Monitor design system adoption and related measures across teams and products.
  • Assess development efficiency, component reuse, design consistency, and team satisfaction.
  • Adjust governance and workflows to meet organizational and product needs.
  • Report on adoption, reuse, consistency, and delivery efficiency, and lead ongoing improvement.

Zahteve

  • Bring 8 or more years of experience in design systems, front-end or design technology, or design-to-engineering workflows, with demonstrated impact on shipped products.
  • Show a record of leading strategy, architecture, and governance for a design system used across multiple products.
  • Influence designers, engineers, and product partners to agree on shared standards, tradeoffs, and roadmap priorities.
  • Know design system foundations, including design tokens, accessibility standards, responsive patterns, and modern tools such as Figma libraries and prototyping.
  • Be familiar with front-end frameworks and version control workflows.
  • Have experience setting success measures and using data and feedback to refine system direction and team workflows.
  • Be able to mentor and support designers and engineers through documentation, office hours, playbooks, and training.
  • Work independently in ambiguous situations, communicate recommendations, and guide decisions with senior stakeholders.
  • Have the legal right to work in the United States.
