Mid-Level Data Analyst (SQL, ETL/ELT) — Brazil Remote

Opis
- Turn data into reliable information through querying, analysis, modeling, and visualization
- Enable better decisions, process improvements, and continued development of Celk’s technology solutions
- Extract, process, and combine data from data lakes, databases, internal systems, and other sources while maintaining consistency and reliability
- Build SQL queries and ETL/ELT workflows to extract, transform, validate, and deliver data
- Help expand the data lake by organizing layers, connecting new sources, building datasets, and maintaining its catalog, metadata, data dictionary, and documentation
- Examine data for patterns, trends, and inconsistencies, trace underlying causes, and recommend solutions
- Convert the needs of internal teams and clients into metrics, KPIs, and visualizations
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, KPIs, and data models
- Protect data quality, integrity, and security through access controls, internal policies, and LGPD compliance
- Partner with Development, DevOps, and DBA teams to investigate issues and improve solutions
- Find ways to automate work, optimize queries, and reduce costs
Zahteve
- Completed or ongoing bachelor’s studies in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related discipline
- Intermediate to advanced SQL skills with relational databases
- Ability to extract, process, analyze, and validate data
- Experience developing reports, KPIs, and data visualizations
- Knowledge of data modeling and table relationships
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Amazon QuickSight, Tableau, or Qlik
- Understanding of data lake concepts and how data lakes differ from data warehouses and lakehouses
- Knowledge of organizing data into layers, such as medallion architecture (bronze, silver, gold) or raw, trusted, and refined layers
- Familiarity with analytical file formats including Parquet, ORC, Avro, CSV, and JSON
- Ability to query data lakes with Amazon Athena, Trino/Presto, or Spark SQL, and understanding of data partitioning
- Knowledge of managing data quality, integrity, and consistency
- Ability to interpret business rules and document analytical criteria and findings
- Knowledge of information security principles and Brazil’s LGPD personal data protection requirements
