- Build dashboards, reports and self-service analytics with Amazon QuickSight, Power BI or Tableau.
- Turn business needs into clear visualisations and useful insights.
- Automate routine and manual reporting.
- Use sound practices in visualisation, accessibility, usability and data storytelling.
- Partner with BI Engineering to understand data models, KPI definitions and pipelines.
- Check data quality, test solutions and help improve performance.
- Document dashboards, metrics and user guidance.
- Encourage the adoption of self-service analytics across the business.
- Work with stakeholders to identify needs and reporting opportunities.
- Evaluate emerging BI tools, methods and practices.
- Ensure BI products follow governance and security principles.
Zahteve
- Practical experience with BI tools; QuickSight experience is preferred, and Power BI familiarity is beneficial.
- A strong grasp of dashboard and reporting development principles.
- Knowledge of data visualisation practices, including chart choice, usability and visual hierarchy.
- Working knowledge of SQL for querying and analysing data.
- Experience enabling self-service analytics, or the ability to develop this capability.
- Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, curiosity and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Experience in a collaborative BI, analytics or data team.
- Exposure to Python, HTML, CSS or JavaScript for analytics, automation or dashboard customisation is an advantage.
