UX/UI Designer I - Vietnam Remote

Descriere

  • Lead end-to-end feature and product design, from discovery and user flows through high-fidelity interfaces and implementation.
  • Turn ambiguous business needs into clear design solutions, then present and defend decisions with stakeholders.
  • Create mockups and prototypes for user flows, interactions, and proof-of-concept work.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and engineers throughout development and provide developer-ready specifications.
  • Identify, prioritize, and resolve UX/UI issues across existing products.
  • Lead the creation, maintenance, and evolution of scalable design-system components.
  • Research and develop tailored design systems for eCommerce websites, B2B applications, and other products.
  • Create illustrations, icons, and AI-generated imagery that align with product styles and design systems.
  • Apply AI tools to research synthesis, ideation, interface exploration, copywriting, and asset creation.
  • Rapidly prototype with Figma AI, v0, Lovable, Cursor, and comparable tools.
  • Find automation opportunities and build AI-powered workflows for design activities.
  • Create intuitive, trustworthy experiences for AI-powered features, including uncertainty, errors, and user control.
  • Evaluate AI-generated work against quality, brand, and accessibility standards.
  • Track design and AI developments and recommend innovative ideas.
  • Offer constructive feedback, share design practices and AI tools, and mentor designers as needed.

Cerințe

  • At least three years of professional product design and UX/UI experience, including one year designing web applications for SaaS, PaaS, or B2B products.
  • A record of shipping products from start to finish, supported by two or three detailed portfolio case studies covering the problem, process, trade-offs, and results.
  • Experience creating a design system from the ground up or scaling an existing system, including component architecture, documentation, and engineering handoff.
  • Practical experience incorporating AI tools into a professional design workflow.
  • Sound judgment regarding AI use, including its limitations around accuracy, bias, intellectual property, and data privacy.
  • Expert command of Figma, including Components, Variants, Auto Layout, responsive design, and prototyping.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of user-centered and inclusive design principles and practices.
  • Working knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and experience applying them to live products.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong stakeholder-management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Curious, experimental approach and willingness to test new AI tools.
  • Strong written and spoken English for collaboration with global cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Preferred: experience with eCommerce platforms or merchant-facing applications.
  • Preferred: UX design experience for AI/ML-powered features.
  • Preferred: experience with prompt engineering or custom AI workflows, agents, or plugins.
  • Preferred: basic HTML/CSS knowledge and familiarity with front-end constraints.
