Senior Software Engineer, Python and Cloud Data (Poland, Remote)

Descriere

  • Join a client’s data science and product teams, working with business stakeholders.
  • Convert internal Lovable prototypes into secure, production-ready services on Google Cloud Run.
  • Develop backend services and middleware with authentication, audit trails, and secure document storage.
  • Create and orchestrate data feeds from Salesforce and third-party providers into the canonical data layer, dashboards, and planning tools such as Pigment and Anaplan.
  • Automate recurring reports and analysis, including scheduled data consolidation and quarterly metrics with manual inputs.
  • Take responsibility for the security of delivered software where there is no separate InfoSec function.
  • Review AI skills used by business teams from a technical perspective.
  • Record work in READMEs, runbooks, and architecture notes.
  • Explain trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders and raise technical risks and sequencing concerns with the sponsor.
  • Keep work within scope by declining tasks that belong to other teams.

Cerințe

  • Approximately 4–7 years of professional, hands-on software engineering experience.
  • Strong production Python experience building services and data pipelines, including testing and CI/CD.
  • In-depth cloud experience with compute, managed databases, serverless services, and IAM; GCP is preferred, but AWS or Azure experience is also relevant.
  • Broad full-stack capability, with particular strength in APIs and middleware, plus the ability to make changes to React and TypeScript front ends.
  • Experience engineering data ingestion from APIs, databases, and file extracts.
  • Experience with workflow orchestration; Airflow is preferred.
  • SQL schema design experience, ideally including NoSQL databases.
  • A track record of taking prototypes or AI-generated code into production and owning services end to end, including deployment, monitoring, and documentation.
  • Practical experience securing services through authentication, least-privilege IAM, secrets management, input validation, audit logging, dependency maintenance, and secure document storage and retention.
  • Able to work independently with commercial awareness, clarify ambiguous briefs, learn undocumented tables and unfamiliar systems, and anticipate user needs.
  • Experience integrating with Salesforce or planning platforms such as Pigment and Anaplan.
  • Knowledge of canonical or dimensional data modeling.
  • Interest in helping shape a company-wide data strategy.
  • Familiarity with LLM workflows and prompt evaluation.
  • Experience with Lovable or Supabase.
