Descriere

  • Lead teams building LawDepot’s contract platform and internal content management system editor.
  • Set technical direction and turn business goals into dependable software delivery.
  • Manage developers and Scrum Masters delivering solutions for website users and internal CMS teams.
  • Coach team members, guide performance and career development, and build shared accountability for delivery and production quality.
  • Work with Product Owners and stakeholders to shape strategy and technical roadmaps.
  • Clear delivery obstacles and focus teams on high-impact priorities.
  • Explain technical context, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs in clear business terms.
  • Choose architectures and technologies that support business goals and future scale.
  • Manage project schedules, scope, estimates, dependencies, risks, and commitments.
  • Use AI for technical research, prototyping, code review, test creation, documentation, and delivery analysis.
  • Coach developers in AI-assisted engineering practices.
  • Improve practices for web applications, APIs, data models, automated testing, CI/CD, security, and production troubleshooting.
  • Oversee releases, rollout readiness, rollback plans, incident response, technical quality, and cleanup of temporary feature flags or obsolete code.
  • Support website experiments with Product and Analytics teams.
  • Contribute to hiring, onboarding, operations, and people management.

Cerințe

  • Post-secondary qualification in computing science, software engineering, information technology, or a related discipline.
  • At least two years leading software development teams and supporting developer performance, growth, and delivery.
  • At least seven years in software development, architecture, or technical delivery.
  • Experience managing projects, processes, priorities, and technical delivery in a software development setting.
  • Sound technical judgment across web applications, APIs, data models, automated testing, CI/CD, security, and production troubleshooting.
  • Practical experience using AI platforms, agents, or related tools in software engineering.
  • Ability to assess AI-generated work, spot risks, and advise where human judgment is needed.
  • Business acumen to connect technical choices with company priorities and operational results.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders across business functions.
  • Strong written and spoken communication, including explaining trade-offs, negotiating scope, and aligning stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile methods and cross-functional software delivery.
  • TypeScript or JavaScript, C#/.NET, Vue, SQL Server, and Entity Framework Core experience is preferred.
  • Experience creating reusable AI workflows, engineering playbooks, or developer enablement practices is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Model Context Protocol or comparable approaches is preferred.
  • Experience leading AI adoption, technical transformation, or organization-wide change initiatives is preferred.
