Senior Microsoft Purview Engineer – United States Remote
Operate Microsoft Purview and enterprise data protection controls for New Era Technology clients. Scale DSPM, DLP, and data governance capabilities across client environments.
Descriere
- Launch, operate, and optimize the client’s Microsoft Purview environment
- Administer sensitivity labels, DLP, retention, insider risk, and eDiscovery controls
- Manage Microsoft Purview within a live production tenant
- Support the expansion and scaling of the enterprise data protection program
- Present program progress and capabilities to legal, compliance, and security leadership
- Collaborate with Security, Legal, Compliance, Privacy, IT, Data Governance, and business stakeholders
Cerințe
- At least 7 years of experience in IT security
- At least 5 years of experience in data protection
- Hands-on experience implementing and operating enterprise DSPM, DLP, Information Protection, Records Management, eDiscovery, Insider Risk, and Data Governance solutions
- Experience with Microsoft Purview or comparable security control platforms
- Experience developing sensitivity-label taxonomies, configuring auto-labeling, and deploying labels
- Experience authoring and tuning Purview DLP policies for Exchange, SharePoint/OneDrive, Teams, and endpoints, including alert management
- Microsoft 365 security administration experience, including roles, RBAC, and Entra ID fundamentals
- Direct experience collaborating with legal, compliance, privacy, or audit teams
- Experience with at least one of the following: eDiscovery Premium and legal holds; Insider Risk Management or Communication Compliance; retention policies and records management; DSPM or sensitive-data discovery outside Microsoft 365
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret job-related documents and communications in English
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods and operate computer equipment
- Preferred certifications include SC-401, SC-400, SC-100, or SC-200
