- Lead and strengthen the Amazon and broader marketplaces team
- Build an engaged team and develop early-career marketplace talent
- Coach team members through hands-on instruction, one-to-ones, and timely feedback
- Create individualized development plans and defined career paths
- Clarify expectations, responsibilities, operating cadences, and accountability
- Own hiring, onboarding, and performance management
- Develop marketplace standards, SOPs, playbooks, onboarding, and training programs
- Implement quality assurance and review procedures
- Define the division structure, roles, and capacity model
- Capture and maintain institutional knowledge
- Act as the subject matter expert for Amazon Advertising, Seller Central, Vendor Central, catalog, and retail media
- Track Amazon platform, advertising, and retail media developments and update team practices
- Set expectations for client strategy, communication, reporting, and performance
- Develop strategic client relationships and lead QBRs and annual planning
- Address escalations and accounts at risk
- Collaborate with Creative, Paid Media, Data, and Affiliate leaders
- Own the marketplaces division strategy, annual plan, and quarterly priorities
- Extend services beyond Amazon to Walmart and other marketplaces
- Increase revenue across existing client accounts
- Contribute to new business pitches, audits, and proposals
- Oversee revenue, margin, utilization, and team-retention metrics
Cerințe
- At least eight years of experience managing Amazon and marketplace programs
- Advanced hands-on expertise in Amazon Advertising, Seller Central, Vendor Central, catalog, and retail media
- At least five years of direct experience leading and developing teams
- Demonstrated ability to retain and advance early-career or junior team members
- Documented success growing Amazon accounts and total book revenue across verticals such as Home and Garden, Supplements, and Health and Wellness, supported by measurable results
- Direct experience selling agency services, leading pitches, developing proposals, and winning new clients
- Experience managing senior client relationships for brands generating $20 million to $200 million in revenue
- Proven record of building teams through hiring, coaching, and performance management
- Commercial judgment covering P&L, margin, pricing, and capacity decisions
- Experience stabilizing a team during turnover or organizational transition is preferred
- Experience with Walmart Marketplace, Target Plus, or other marketplaces is preferred
- Additional expertise in Beauty and Personal Care, Sports and Outdoors, or Fashion is preferred
- Familiarity with EOS or a comparable operating system is preferred
- Denver-area candidates must be able to work onsite daily at the LoDo/Union Station office
- Exceptional remote candidates may be considered
