Descriere

  • Modernize Indian Health Service health records by creating a central repository for clinical data and longitudinal patient records.
  • Build Azure data pipelines that consolidate clinical information from more than 200 healthcare facilities.
  • Automate ETL workflows for high-volume JSON and HL7 FHIR data with Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake.
  • Develop and optimize PySpark processes to transform and enrich large healthcare datasets.
  • Create and maintain enterprise data models that standardize clinical information across facilities and sources.
  • Set up monitoring and alerts for data quality, reliability, and pipeline performance.
  • Work with architects, data engineers, and stakeholders to shape cloud data architecture and integration patterns.
  • Guide teams on Azure cloud and data engineering practices.
  • Contribute to the Indian Health Service Four Directions Data Warehouse modernization project.

Cerințe

  • Relevant technical training, certifications, or a degree plus at least three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least three years of related experience.
  • Ability to lead big data engineering work on database migrations and Azure data pipeline initiatives.
  • Extensive experience with Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Monitor, and Spark clusters.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data modeling for enterprise databases and analytics environments.
  • Strong Python skills, including PySpark, and experience with .NET.
  • Experience building infrastructure as code with Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform.
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs in Azure.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data solutions.
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust Level 5 clearance.
  • Must have lived in the United States for at least three of the past five years to be eligible for clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is not required.
  • Work visa sponsorship is unavailable.
  • A master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant Azure certifications are preferred.
  • Experience with healthcare data systems, clinical workflows, HL7 FHIR, Power BI, Agile methods, and technical leadership or mentoring is preferred.
