Descriere

  • Lead finance AI workflows from problem definition through production and continuous improvement
  • Design agentic and LLM systems that combine extraction, retrieval, reasoning, and tool use
  • Decide where human review is needed for high-value financial decisions
  • Document designs, choose whether to build or buy and which models to use, and define workflow success metrics
  • Partner with customers and internal finance users to identify workflow needs and set completion criteria
  • Build production LLM pipelines with prompt and context design, structured outputs, validation, fallback handling, and confidence scoring
  • Develop retrieval and RAG components, including chunking, embeddings, vector search, and reranking
  • Connect AI services to backend systems through API contracts, retries, graceful degradation, and customer data isolation
  • Control model costs and response times
  • Create evaluation datasets and automated checks to detect regressions
  • Set up logging, tracing, dashboards, alerts, and AI quality monitoring
  • Keep an audit trail of AI decisions for a regulated financial product
  • Create shared AI engineering patterns, tools, and practices
  • Help the wider team use coding agents and AI tools effectively
  • Review AI system designs and share lessons learned

Cerințe

  • Bring 7 or more years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 2 years building and operating production LLM or AI systems
  • Have owned a substantial system or workflow from scoping and design through launch and iteration, with limited direction
  • Have hands-on experience delivering LLM applications with APIs such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or similar, including structured outputs, error handling, and evaluation
  • Have experience designing agentic or multi-step AI workflows, or RAG systems using vector databases such as pgvector, Pinecone, or Weaviate
  • Demonstrate strong Python skills
  • Understand backend fundamentals, including REST APIs, PostgreSQL or comparable relational databases, asynchronous patterns, and a major cloud provider such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Use AI coding agents and tools regularly, such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex
  • Have experience with AI system observability, including logging, tracing, dashboards, and quality monitoring
  • Be professionally fluent in written and spoken English
