Descriere

  • Find and target new business opportunities strategically.
  • Manage sales from prospecting through proposals, negotiation, and closing.
  • Build trusted relationships with ranchers, producers, partners, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
  • Learn each ranch’s operations and match eShepherd to its commercial and operational needs.
  • Develop opportunities through networking, prospecting, industry engagement, and follow-up.
  • Lead or support key account opportunities, tenders, contracts, and distribution agreements.
  • Keep CRM records disciplined, maintain pipeline visibility, and produce accurate sales forecasts.
  • Partner with Customer Success to support the handoff from sale to onboarding and ongoing customer success.
  • Share market intelligence, customer feedback, pricing insights, and competitor activity with Sales, Product, and Marketing.
  • Strengthen the eShepherd and Gallagher brands through industry relationships, partnerships, and speaking engagements.

Cerințe

  • Experience in business development or key account management in a solution-selling environment.
  • A track record of identifying prospects and converting opportunities into closed sales.
  • Experience working with ranchers or personal experience in agriculture.
  • Knowledge of agricultural technology solutions.
  • Interest in or understanding of beef cattle and grazing management.
  • Strong commercial judgment, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and sustain momentum across multiple opportunities.
  • Experience in a high-growth or scale-up environment.
  • Ability to think strategically and turn plans into action.
