Senior Internal Auditor – Project Execution at Wood

Apraksts

  • Execute assigned audits in accordance with Internal Audit methodology and the approved audit plan.
  • Stay current on the audit programme and maintain accurate working papers.
  • Record audit evidence accurately and to the required standard within agreed deadlines.
  • Coordinate the full internal audit lifecycle when assigned.
  • Assess risks, conduct objective sampling, analyse system data, and work with auditees.
  • Develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and functional networks.
  • Position Internal Audit as a trusted adviser while preserving independence and objectivity.
  • Deliver evidence-based findings that are clear and verifiable.
  • Contribute to concise, complete, and well-supported audit reports.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of agreed management actions.
  • Assist with investigations conducted under Wood’s Ethics Investigation Protocol.
  • Take part in team meetings.
  • Help build a forward-looking Internal Audit function that delivers value.
  • Advance continuous improvement, innovation, and efficiency in audit practices.
  • Work with colleagues to strengthen skills, capability, and knowledge.
  • Champion integrity, collaboration, continuous improvement, safe behaviours, and a speak-up culture.

Prasības

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant functional or technical discipline, or substantial relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrated professional experience with career progression in project management or the technical delivery of projects.
  • Strong knowledge of field-based HSSEQ requirements.
  • Extensive experience in project management, engineering, or construction.
  • Working knowledge of supply chain and HSSEQ functions.
  • Proficiency in assessing data and internal controls for compliance.
  • Experience delivering audit outcomes that add value.
  • Experience working across multiple international geographies.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%, including visits to onshore and offshore sites.
  • Experience contributing to and meeting demanding performance objectives.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and execution abilities, including managing competing priorities.
  • Clear commitment to continuous improvement, professional development, and technical excellence.
