Senior Category Manager, Supply Chain Planning — Digi International (Remote, US)

Apraksts

  • Lead the MSBU Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
  • Develop and refine demand plans with Product Management and Sales.
  • Run weekly sales forecast cycles and business unit supply reviews.
  • Build stakeholder alignment and carry planning decisions through to completion.
  • Convert demand forecasts into workable supply plans.
  • Set safety stock levels and manage other supply assurance measures.
  • Maintain NetSuite planning settings, including safety stock, lead times, minimum order quantities, and lot sizes.
  • Model capacity constraints and demand risks through scenario planning.
  • Manage finished goods orders with contract manufacturers.
  • Schedule and monitor manufacturing builds through delivery.
  • Track contract manufacturer and supplier results with performance scorecards.
  • Work with Sourcing and Procurement to shorten lead times and improve supply responsiveness.
  • Help manage component risks, obsolescence, end-of-life monitoring, single-source exposure, and last-time-buy decisions.
  • Lead demand and supply planning for new products from pilot runs through volume production.
  • Represent MSBU in initiatives to reduce purchase price variance.
  • Work with Supply Chain and Finance to meet inventory turn and cash flow targets.
  • Prepare monthly executive updates on demand and supply, inventory liabilities, turns, cash flow, and purchase price variance.

Prasības

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Background in supply chain planning, demand planning, or S&OP; contract manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical ability to turn data into practical planning decisions.
  • Ability to manage a process end to end and align cross-functional teams.
  • Clear communication in cross-functional discussions and with contract manufacturers.
  • Availability for occasional travel to contract manufacturer sites.
  • Knowledge of export control (EAR) and conflict minerals reporting, with the ability to support related requirements.
  • Experience with NetSuite applications.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including functions and modeling, are required.
  • Power BI experience.
  • Experience with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot.
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is preferred.
  • Must live in the continental United States.
  • Must have valid US work authorization when applying.
  • Visa sponsorship is unavailable.
