Apraksts

  • Design and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines with Python, PySpark, and SQL
  • Build and orchestrate reliable, observable ETL/ELT workflows with logging, metrics, and alerts
  • Create OLTP and OLAP data models that support BI, analytics, and AI use cases
  • Manage code and artifact quality, versioning, and reproducibility through GitHub workflows, pull requests, and reviews
  • Develop unit, integration, and data tests while defining end-to-end testing approaches
  • Apply architectural practices that improve modularity, security, performance, and cost efficiency
  • Partner with analysts, data scientists, and product teams to turn business needs into scalable data solutions
  • Document data assets, processes, and architectural decisions to support knowledge sharing
  • Advance data environments through automation, standardization, and performance optimization

Prasības

  • Proficiency with Python and PySpark for data manipulation, transformation, and distributed processing
  • Strong SQL expertise, including data modeling, query tuning, CTEs, window functions, and partitioning
  • Experience modeling transactional OLTP and multidimensional OLAP data
  • Experience building and orchestrating ETL/ELT workflows with Airflow, Databricks Jobs, or similar tools
  • Knowledge of data-focused software architecture, including design patterns, security, scalability, and cost efficiency
  • Hands-on GitHub experience with GitFlow, pull requests, semantic versioning, and basic GitHub Actions
  • Experience designing and executing tests, including data-quality and schema-validation checks
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data is a plus
  • Knowledge of non-relational platforms such as data lakes, NoSQL, document, columnar, and graph databases is a plus
  • Cloud experience is a plus, preferably with Azure services including Data Lake Storage, Databricks, Synapse, Fabric, and Key Vault
  • Exposure to data governance and security practices such as lineage, catalogs, and RBAC/ABAC is a plus
  • Microsoft Azure certifications such as DP-203, AZ-900, DP-900, or related credentials are a plus
  • Databricks Lakehouse Fundamentals or Data Engineer Associate/Professional certification is a plus
  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency
