ABB Field Service Coordinator, Remote in the US

Coordinate field technicians, contractors, and customer support for ABB renewable energy equipment across the Southern United States. Manage scheduling, inventory, training, and service delivery in this remote role.

Apraksts

  • Provide remote and on-site technical support for incidents involving ABB equipment, including PV inverters, BESS, PCS, medium-voltage systems, auxiliary panels, cooling equipment, and communications.
  • Coordinate contractors and field technicians.
  • Communicate with technicians daily to help resolve service issues.
  • Plan and manage Service Technician schedules across assignments.
  • Staff jobs appropriately and ensure technicians understand assignment duration and responsibilities.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of completed work.
  • Ensure technicians have the tools and supplies needed for each job.
  • Coordinate technician training and confirm they have the required equipment.
  • Manage supply inventory and purchase tools, equipment, and PPE.
  • Keep customers informed and ensure completed work meets their needs.
  • Resolve concerns raised by employees and customers.
  • Report to the Service Manager.

Prasības

  • High school diploma and at least five years of maintenance service experience; experience with renewable energy projects or related energy operations and maintenance is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of communications networks, cooling systems, power electronics, electrical diagram interpretation, medium-voltage equipment, and electrical switchgear.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, procedures, and regulations.
  • Knowledge of the environmental, health, and safety regulations technicians must follow when working on solar farms.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.
  • Ability to travel and work independently.
