Aprašymas

  • Explain the foundations and practical potential of AI in engineering
  • Teach AI-assisted methods for engineering design work
  • Train learners in modern CAD workflows enhanced by AI
  • Teach Generative Design and automated generation of design alternatives
  • Show how AI can support product development decisions
  • Teach AI-enabled error detection and quality assurance techniques
  • Train participants to assess and validate AI-generated design outputs
  • Guide the effective adoption of AI within established development and design workflows
  • Deliver practical, accessible, audience-focused instruction for the “Smart Design: AI Skills for CAD Professionals” qualification
  • Clarify where AI adds meaningful value across the design cycle and where engineering expertise remains indispensable

Reikalavimai

  • Degree or technical qualification in mechanical engineering, design engineering, product development, or a comparable discipline
  • At least two years of professional experience in design, development, or technical engineering
  • Strong proficiency in at least one of Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Fusion, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA
  • Practical experience with parametric design and contemporary CAD workflows
  • Solid knowledge of mechanical engineering product development and design processes
  • Hands-on experience applying AI throughout development and design work
  • Experience analyzing requirements and developing concepts
  • Experience creating technical solutions
  • Experience with design and 3D modeling
  • Experience developing design alternatives through Generative Design
  • Experience optimizing components and assemblies
  • Experience conducting technical evaluations of solution alternatives
  • Experience with defect detection and quality enhancement
  • Experience producing technical documentation, specifications, and bills of materials
  • Experience using generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or comparable systems
  • Ability to assess AI-generated outputs professionally for functionality, feasibility, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness
  • Preferred: Familiarity with AI capabilities in modern CAD platforms
  • Preferred: Experience with Generative Design and topology optimization
  • Preferred: Awareness of current AI developments in design and engineering
  • Preferred: Experience improving development and design workflows
  • Preferred: Knowledge of parametric design for product variants
  • Preferred: Experience writing prompts for technical use cases
  • Preferred: Understanding of data protection, copyright, and responsible corporate AI use
