Support the finance team of a full-service event production company as a Staff Accountant. Manage QuickBooks Online transactions, payables and receivables, reconciliations, purchase orders, and month-end close activities.

  • Maintain financial transactions and records in QuickBooks Online
  • Review vendor invoices, process accounts payable entries, and track payments
  • Provide support for accounts receivable activities
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliation support
  • Process and monitor vendor purchase order requests from internal stakeholders
  • Support expense reporting and Concur processing
  • Contribute to month-end close activities and organize financial records
  • Keep complete and accurate transaction documentation
  • Enter and validate financial information from multiple internal sources
  • Maintain accounting spreadsheets and supporting schedules
  • Follow established SOPs and promptly escalate discrepancies or process gaps
  • Collaborate with the finance team while coordinating tasks from multiple internal stakeholders

Талаптар

  • Working knowledge of accounting principles, including debits and credits, accounts payable and receivable, and reconciliations
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online
  • Licensed CPA with at least two years of experience
  • Experience with Concur is preferred; training will be provided
  • Strong Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills
  • Experience in event production, media, or entertainment is helpful but not required
  • Careful and detail-oriented approach with the ability to identify errors before they progress
  • Ability to follow established SOPs and report discrepancies or process gaps
  • Willingness to ask clarifying questions instead of making assumptions
  • Reliable, responsive approach to managing workload
  • Availability for full-time work Monday through Friday, aligned with Arizona time (MST/MDT)
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a professional, dedicated remote workspace
