Sell MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) supplies and related products to an established portfolio of multi-family housing customers
Manage and grow sales across Stockton, Tracy, Lodi, California, and nearby areas
Generate profitable territory growth through new-account prospecting, customer retention, and expansion of existing accounts
Build and sustain strong relationships with key customer decision-makers and influencers
Manage existing customer volume while identifying and acquiring new business
Create and execute plans to expand the company’s presence in the assigned territory
Distribute market observations and competitor intelligence across the organization
Work with leadership to assess market trends and customer needs and shape sales strategies
Participate in monthly business meetings, local trade shows, and regional or national events as needed
Investigate and correct missing or incomplete information, inconsistencies, and anomalies in complex research or data
Offer general direction to, or train, junior-level support and professional staff
Travel overnight less than 10% of the time

Must live in California, specifically Stockton or the surrounding area
At least 4 years of business-to-business (B2B) field sales experience
Experience selling directly to multi-family communities and facilities maintenance customers is a plus
Expert relationship-building skills
Experience managing a broad product assortment
Strong organizational skills and familiarity with handheld technology
Knowledge of facilities products, including hardware, electrical, and lighting supplies
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Salesforce or a comparable CRM
Consultative or solution-selling experience is preferred
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a remote role
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
Generally requires 2–5 years of related experience, or a master’s degree with generally 2–4 years of related experience
Certification is required in some areas
Must regularly use a personal vehicle for more than 20% of the average work week
Must have an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR)
