Technical Business Analyst

Description

  • Lead the implementation and operational launch of a new Davy product
  • Connect business stakeholders with technology teams throughout delivery
  • Collect, evaluate, and document business, functional, and technical requirements
  • Run stakeholder workshops to clarify needs and shape solution requirements
  • Develop and update user stories, process maps, acceptance criteria, and requirements records
  • Help product squads and technology teams interpret requirements and deliver effective solutions
  • Track and address delivery risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Keep requirements traceability and delivery records accurate and up to date
  • Verify that solutions meet regulatory, risk, and governance standards
  • Coordinate communication among business, technology, operations, and product teams
  • Explain complex business and technical requirements clearly to stakeholders
  • Cultivate productive relationships that enable collaboration and successful delivery
  • Find opportunities to improve processes, automate work, and increase operational efficiency
  • Contribute to continuous improvement programmes and the use of best practices
  • Support delivery activities, product launch readiness, and ongoing service performance

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or comparable professional in financial services
  • Background delivering technology-enabled change and launching new products or platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to work across business and technology teams in complex delivery settings
  • Experience eliciting, recording, and managing business and technical requirements
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance obligations in financial services
  • Strong capabilities in requirements elicitation, process mapping, and business analysis
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methods is preferred
  • Understanding of system integrations, APIs, data flows, and technology platforms
  • Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Office
  • Experience supporting testing, including user acceptance testing and defect management
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Highly organised, with careful attention to detail
  • Proactive, collaborative, and able to work across several teams
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-moving, changing delivery environment
  • Authorisation to work in Ireland
