Technical Account Manager at EDB (United States Remote)

Advise EDB’s largest customers on Postgres and AI solutions while guiding technical strategy, architecture, troubleshooting, and enterprise adoption.

Description

  • Manage post-sales relationships with EDB’s largest and most complex customers
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor focused on customer outcomes and sustained Postgres adoption
  • Serve as the primary technical contact across EDB’s solution areas
  • Build strong partnerships with customers’ senior technical leaders
  • Help customers realize greater value from their Postgres investments
  • Support the creation and implementation of Postgres strategies
  • Lead major Postgres initiatives through solutions consulting, architecture guidance, and project management
  • Keep functional and technical expertise current across the EDB product portfolio
  • Share customer-driven product feedback with EDB’s product management teams
  • Capture and document best practices for developing and deploying EDB solutions
  • Provide front-line guidance on best practices and answer informal customer technical questions
  • Travel up to 25% as needed

Requirements

  • At least five years of hands-on experience with Postgres, Oracle, DB2, or Microsoft SQL Server
  • Advanced technical capability across data management platforms, operating systems, cloud technologies, and technical architecture
  • Working knowledge of data analytics and AI/ML concepts
  • Experience working with Kubernetes
  • Strong analytical ability in technical and project management contexts
  • A solid understanding of strategic sales processes
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to balance competing client demands
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including communication with C-suite stakeholders
  • Professional certification in relational databases is desirable
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology or computer science, or equivalent technical training or industry experience, is preferred
