Talent Relations Manager, Los Angeles (Hybrid)

Lead guest bookings and talent strategy across The Ringer’s podcast network. Partner with hosts, producers, and entertainment-industry representatives to develop compelling opportunities.

Description

  • Oversee talent bookings across The Ringer’s podcast network, working with hosts and producers to identify and secure compelling guests.
  • Establish reliable workflows and communication practices with show teams, including check-ins, guest pitches, and planning for tentpole events and major coverage moments.
  • Create guest strategies that align talent opportunities with each show’s audience, voice, and editorial priorities.
  • Help hosts and producers prepare for guest appearances by ensuring teams have the necessary information and resources.
  • Develop trusted relationships with network hosts and connect show teams with senior leadership.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with talent, managers, agents, publicists, PR firms, studios, and networks.
  • Keep internal and external partners updated on new shows, launches, and opportunities across The Ringer network.

Requirements

  • At least five years of relevant experience working with celebrities, creators, managers, publicists, or other entertainment-industry partners.
  • A proven record of booking high-profile guests and building trusted relationships with talent and their representatives.
  • Strong persuasive communication and thoughtful interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and present opportunities to internal and external partners.
  • Experience applying audience insights and performance data to talent and booking decisions.
  • Background booking talent for podcasts, digital content, television, film, or related entertainment formats.
  • Strong knowledge of pop culture, emerging talent, current conversations, and cultural moments.
  • Professionalism, discretion, sound judgment, and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing talent needs.
  • Willingness to travel as required by the role.
