Software Engineering Coordinator at INFOX | Hybrid Brazil

Lead engineering at INFOX, developing digital solutions for Brazil’s judiciary. Coordinate Java squads while modernizing critical and legacy systems.

Description

  • Manage multidisciplinary teams of software developers and quality analysts
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and other departments to align delivery with business priorities
  • Coordinate multiple squads by overseeing capacity, priorities, delivery quality, and continuous improvement
  • Support solution design, architecture, and the adoption of engineering best practices
  • Contribute to technical decisions with the CTO and help shape product technology evolution
  • Plan releases, track metrics, and remove delivery blockers
  • Lead the support and enhancement of legacy systems while maintaining stability and quality
  • Encourage strong development, testing, code review, and continuous improvement practices
  • Provide feedback, hold one-to-one meetings, and support technical and behavioral growth
  • Build a collaborative, psychologically safe, and learning-focused team environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline
  • Substantial experience managing software development teams
  • Professional background in Java development
  • Ability to balance people leadership with technical discussions and support architecture and engineering decisions
  • Experience maintaining and progressively improving legacy and evolving applications
  • Practical experience with Scrum and Kanban
  • Knowledge of agile metrics and flow management
  • Experience modernizing legacy applications
  • Understanding of software architecture principles
  • Experience applying software engineering, quality, and secure development practices
  • Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to facilitate technical-business negotiations
  • Spring Boot and broader Java ecosystem experience is a plus
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery is a plus
  • Background in a software company or software house is a plus
  • Knowledge of Brazil’s judiciary ecosystem is a plus
