Description

  • Design, deploy, and run high-scale services for an international payments and financial technology client
  • Improve shared services and operational tooling to accelerate delivery while strengthening availability, scalability, and efficiency
  • Incorporate community-supported and open-source products into the wider technology environment
  • Create operational tooling with scripting and programming languages while contributing to team knowledge sharing
  • Help move existing solutions to new infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code, automation, and CI/CD practices
  • Deliver production systems that are fast, dependable, and resilient across collaborating teams
  • Develop, configure, and continuously improve automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation and user guidance
  • Handle routine operations including change control, application monitoring, and deployments
  • Integrate security into service architecture and operations to meet payment-industry requirements

Requirements

  • Three or more years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Linux platform engineering, or production operations
  • Advanced Linux administration and troubleshooting skills, ideally with Red Hat or CentOS
  • Practical experience monitoring service availability and handling production incidents
  • Hands-on experience with PagerDuty or a similar on-call and alerting solution
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or a comparable IT service-management platform
  • Strong Ansible capability, including reusable playbooks, roles, inventories, and controlled runs
  • Experience building or maintaining Linux packages and repositories with RPM, YUM, DNF, or equivalent tools
  • Working knowledge of Git branches, merge requests, code reviews, and release processes
  • Ability to automate operational work with Bash, Go, Python, or another suitable scripting language
  • Clear troubleshooting, documentation, and English communication skills
  • Experience with Red Hat Satellite, Foreman, Katello, or a similar repository and lifecycle-management platform
  • Background integrating and supporting open-source products in enterprise settings
  • Experience using Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, Splunk, New Relic, or comparable monitoring platforms
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar delivery pipelines
  • Familiarity with Terraform, OpenTofu, Puppet, or other infrastructure and configuration-management tools
  • Experience operating services across multiple data centers or hybrid infrastructure
  • Knowledge of security hardening, vulnerability remediation, PCI-DSS, or other regulated environments
  • CIM only
