Description

  • Lead delivery streams by managing priorities, dependencies, sprints, releases, quality, and go-live activities
  • Translate architectural decisions into HLDs, LLDs, technical backlogs, and acceptance criteria
  • Design and deliver Lakehouse and analytics solutions using Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric
  • Work hands-on with critical components including Spark, data pipelines, performance optimization, and semantic models
  • Deploy governed, operational solutions using Purview, Power BI, CI/CD, runbooks, and observability practices
  • Own release readiness through checklists, cutover plans, and go/no-go decisions with the PM or Delivery Lead
  • Manage post-go-live stabilization through incident response, troubleshooting, and remediation to reduce downtime and rework
  • Partner with Solution Architects to maintain alignment between design and implementation while managing trade-offs and risks
  • Support Solution Architects with architectural decisions, workshops, and technical governance
  • Strengthen expertise in design authority, architectural trade-offs, and stakeholder management

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience delivering Data and Analytics projects in cloud and/or hybrid environments, from delivery through go-live
  • Experience leading technical delivery across multiple streams, including dependency management, quality, releases, and stabilization
  • Strong experience with Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric, including ingestion, transformation, orchestration, serving, and Lakehouse patterns
  • Proficiency with Power BI, including semantic models, DAX, performance, RLS/OLS security, lifecycle management, and publishing
  • Experience with data governance using Purview or equivalent tools, including cataloging, lineage, policies, data quality, and compliance
  • Hands-on skills in SQL, Python, Spark/PySpark, with Scala considered a plus, as well as performance tuning and troubleshooting
  • Experience with modern delivery practices such as Git, DataOps/CI/CD, development, test and production environments, automation, observability, cloud consumption estimation, and cost control
  • Experience managing post-go-live operations, including incidents, root-cause analysis, and remediation supported by runbooks and monitoring
  • Ownership of release readiness activities such as cutover planning, checklists, and go/no-go decisions, plus support for migration and rollout exercises
  • Collaborative and highly effective communicator who can facilitate technical decisions with IT and business stakeholders
  • Delivery-focused approach with the ability to turn architectures into robust, maintainable, and governed implementations
  • Proactive in promoting standards, best practices, and reuse
  • Innovative, results-oriented mindset with attention to performance, security, governance, and time to value
  • Technical leadership skills with clear prioritization, quality control, dependency management, and ongoing team support
  • Excellent English-language skills
