Senior Commercial Executive – Hybrid UK

Lead commercial operations across What’s Possible Group’s UK marketing services businesses, covering contracts, negotiations, pricing, governance, and risk. Support business growth while helping develop the Commercial team.

Description

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and administer NDAs, DPAs, client agreements, variations, statements of work, and partner contracts
  • Assess contractual terms, surface risks and opportunities, and recommend practical commercial actions
  • Coordinate contract signing through DocuSign and keep commercial records accurate and up to date
  • Prepare commercial summaries and contract briefings for internal stakeholders
  • Track renewals, notice periods, obligations, commitments, milestones, and compliance requirements
  • Share client commercial arrangements clearly across the business
  • Lead smaller client commercial projects and negotiations independently
  • Assist the Group Commercial Director with complex commercial negotiations
  • Create sustainable pricing and remuneration models
  • Contribute to negotiations with clients, procurement teams, and legal advisers
  • Partner with Finance on payment terms, credit considerations, and commercial reconciliations
  • Identify, manage, and escalate legal and commercial risks
  • Contribute to new business pitches, proposals, contract reviews, and commercial modelling
  • Design tailored commercial solutions that meet client requirements
  • Cost projects and assess their commercial viability
  • Maintain commercial databases, trackers, and governance procedures
  • Contribute to commercial reporting, profitability analysis, and business insight work
  • Strengthen commercial processes, controls, and documentation
  • Supervise, coach, train, support, and review the Commercial Level 1 Executive
  • Help distribute and prioritise workload across the Commercial team
  • Support performance reviews, objective setting, and development planning

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements
  • Well-developed commercial awareness and sound business judgement
  • Background in a fast-moving commercial environment
  • Excellent written, verbal, and stakeholder communication skills
  • Strong organisation and the ability to handle competing priorities
  • Exceptional attention to detail and document management capability
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Confidence engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in media, marketing services, advertising, procurement, or professional services is desirable
  • Working knowledge of GDPR and data protection principles is desirable
  • Experience with commercial modelling, pricing, or profitability analysis is desirable
  • Familiarity with DocuSign or comparable contract management platforms is desirable
  • Exposure to procurement or legal negotiation processes is desirable
  • Commercially astute, inquisitive, and engaged
  • Proactive, practical, and focused on solutions
  • Comfortable interpreting contracts, legal documents, and formal commercial agreements
  • Able to turn complex wording into clear, actionable business guidance
  • Motivated to learn and continue developing
  • Able to pursue commercial opportunities while applying sensible risk controls
