Description

  • Support onX’s CEO, CFO, and Senior Director of FP&A as a trusted source of high-impact financial analysis
  • Own special and ad hoc analyses that evaluate operational and broader business performance
  • Uncover trends and anomalies, shape coherent narratives, and present practical recommendations
  • Model and assess organic and inorganic growth, new business lines, pricing decisions, and operational investments
  • Lead market-sizing, scenario-modeling, and long-range evaluations of strategic opportunities
  • Build and rigorously test business cases for significant strategic initiatives
  • Independently collect, extract, and transform internal and external data using platforms such as Tableau, PitchBook, and Amplitude
  • Collaborate with Business Intelligence to develop scalable data pipelines, expand data access, and guide analytical infrastructure improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, statistics, or another relevant analytical discipline
  • At least six years of experience in finance, strategy, investment banking, management consulting, or a comparable analytical role
  • Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, multi-source joins, and independent analysis of large datasets
  • Strong financial modeling expertise covering scenarios, sensitivities, discounted cash flow, and return-on-investment frameworks
  • Background working directly with, or in close proximity to, Business Intelligence or data engineering teams
  • Experience assessing M&A opportunities or performing detailed strategic and market analysis, including market sizing, competitive research, and growth or investment evaluation
  • Ability to work independently in ambiguous settings, structure undefined problems, and turn analysis into actionable conclusions
  • Outstanding written communication skills, with experience creating narrative analyses and recommendations for senior leaders
  • Confidence presenting complex findings to C-suite and executive audiences, responding to challenges, and adjusting in real time
  • Willingness to learn and use AI tools to increase analytical efficiency and quality
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to manage several urgent priorities at once
  • Experience with a B2C SaaS or subscription-based business is strongly preferred
  • Permanent authorization to work in the United States is required for employment with onX
  • Ability to demonstrate alignment with onX’s Company Values
