Description

  • Lead solution architecture for initiatives spanning supply chain, store, merchandising, and digital platforms
  • Create and maintain architecture artifacts, including high-level designs, integration and data flows, sequence diagrams, NFRs, deployment views, and ADRs
  • Establish target-state architectures and transition roadmaps that align with enterprise standards
  • Verify that solutions satisfy availability, performance, resilience, scalability, security, and operability needs
  • Design solutions for supply chain and logistics, store technology, merchandising, and digital or omnichannel domains
  • Develop cloud-first architectures using Azure and/or Google Cloud best practices
  • Design enterprise integrations using APIs, event-driven approaches, streaming, and batch processing
  • Collaborate with data and AI teams on AI/ML lifecycle architecture, GenAI applications, advanced decisioning, and responsible AI controls
  • Advance domain-aligned data models, master and reference data, lineage, and privacy practices
  • Lead or contribute to architecture reviews and establish reusable reference architectures and patterns
  • Deliver secure-by-design solutions that are operationally ready in partnership with security and SRE teams
  • Coach engineers and analysts while contributing to architecture and engineering communities of practice
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business leaders to evaluate solution options and trade-offs
  • Explain architectural intent, risks, and decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Serve as a trusted architecture advisor throughout planning and delivery

Requirements

  • At least seven years of technology experience, including three or more years in solution or technical architecture
  • Experience delivering retail platform solutions across supply chain, stores, merchandising, and/or digital environments
  • Strong background in API-led and event-driven integration architecture
  • Practical experience with Azure and/or GCP, including networking, identity, and deployment models
  • Solid knowledge of security, resilience, performance, and observability
  • Experience with retail enterprise platforms such as OMS, POS, WMS/TMS, ERP, PIM, and pricing or promotion engines
  • Background in data platform and analytics architecture, including lakehouse, warehouse, and streaming patterns
  • Exposure to AI/ML or GenAI architecture, including deployment, monitoring, and responsible AI practices
  • Experience with store edge computing or offline-first architecture
  • Proficiency with architecture modeling methods such as C4, UML, sequence and data flows, and domain models
  • Strong analytical reasoning and decision-making skills
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication
