Senior Reliability Engineer, Manufacturing

Lead reliability engineering across food manufacturing operations, improving equipment performance, maintenance effectiveness, and production efficiency. The role focuses on SAP Plant Maintenance, asset criticality, root-cause analysis, and reliability program development.

Description

  • Build and run a comprehensive Reliability Engineering program
  • Develop processes, tools, standards, and KPIs that improve equipment reliability, production efficiency, and overall equipment effectiveness
  • Manage asset criticality assessments and maintain asset rankings in SAP
  • Identify high-risk assets and lead or recommend plans to eliminate or reduce associated risks
  • Build equipment-failure root-cause analysis capabilities through training, coaching, and facilitation
  • Use equipment and cost data to direct reliability initiatives and demonstrate measurable value
  • Apply Preventive Maintenance Evaluation and Optimization methods
  • Use Reliability Centered Maintenance standards and processes, including team training and analysis leadership
  • Conduct Weibull analyses to assess equipment reliability and shape maintenance strategies
  • Track reliability initiatives and deliver regular progress updates
  • Monitor industry trends and benchmarks to drive program enhancements
  • Develop SAP Plant Maintenance expertise, protect data integrity, and lead related improvements
  • Partner with Engineering on design-for-reliability standards for capital projects
  • Work with plant and technical leaders to improve reliability, production efficiency, and overall equipment effectiveness
  • Contribute to the Corporate Reliability Center of Excellence and cross-functional Technical Transformation teams
  • Travel to other manufacturing facilities up to 50% of the time

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • At least five years of manufacturing experience in Reliability Engineering, Maintenance, or Engineering roles
  • Experience implementing Reliability Engineering processes and programs
  • Experience with predictive maintenance methods such as vibration, infrared, and oil analysis
  • Track record of establishing Reliability Engineering capabilities across manufacturing operations
  • Experience leading and managing projects
  • Weibull analysis experience preferred, along with familiarity with other statistical analysis methods
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience using computerized maintenance management systems; SAP Plant Maintenance preferred
  • Ability to assess losses and prioritize improvements that produce measurable business results
  • Ability to travel to other manufacturing facilities up to 50% of the time
  • Ability to work in manufacturing environments involving walking, stairs or ladders, kneeling, repetitive tasks, lifting and carrying, large moving equipment, high noise, and varying temperatures
