Senior Mining Project Manager
Lead complex, multidisciplinary mining contracts at GHD, bringing together technical, commercial, financial and risk management. Coordinate specialist teams to deliver agreed scope safely, on schedule and within budget.

- Lead complex, multidisciplinary mining contracts.
- Integrate technical, contractual, financial, risk and safety management with client relations.
- Oversee all aspects of project administration.
- Meet performance goals agreed with the Project Director and fulfil client and GHD expectations.
- Deliver committed scope on time and to the required quality, within schedule and budget.
- Lead multidisciplinary technical teams in demanding mining environments.
- Coordinate technical disciplines, engineering, operations, suppliers, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
- Develop and implement execution plans and methods, including deliverables and resourcing strategies.
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, staffing, efficiency, quality, risks, service orders, invoicing and contractual closeout.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline relevant to engineering and mining projects.
- At least 15 years of total professional experience.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, Project Director or in an equivalent role on multidisciplinary mining contracts.
- Experience leading projects through one or more stages: studies, conceptual engineering, pre-feasibility, feasibility, and basic or detailed engineering.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management training is preferred.
- Experience directing engineering contracts or mining services involving multiple technical disciplines.
- Ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, staffing, efficiency, quality, risks, service orders, invoicing and contractual closeout.
- Direct experience with mining clients and knowledge of their governance, safety and project control processes.
- Experience managing interfaces among engineering, operations, suppliers, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
- Ability to develop and implement execution plans and methods, including deliverables and resourcing strategies.
- Strong leadership of multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Client and results focus, with attention to safety, schedule, cost, quality and satisfaction.
- Intermediate English.
