Description

  • Develop and maintain IBM z/OS and MVS systems programming environments
  • Install, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot software through SMP/E
  • Administer enterprise mainframe software and related platform components
  • Create and manage workloads using JCL and ISPF/TSO
  • Support mainframe networking with VTAM and TCP/IP
  • Administer IBM Connect, CA Session Manager, and CA Spool environments
  • Help shape mainframe infrastructure, architecture, and technical designs
  • Operate BMC AMI tools, including AMI OPS Automation, AMI OPS Monitors, or AMI Output Management
  • Lead technical initiatives and oversee projects or programs
  • Coordinate effectively with stakeholders

Requirements

  • Demonstrated hands-on expertise in IBM z/OS and MVS systems programming
  • Practical experience installing, maintaining, upgrading, and supporting software with SMP/E
  • Background in mainframe software installation and administration
  • Working experience with JCL and ISPF/TSO
  • Experience supporting VTAM and TCP/IP
  • Familiarity with IBM Connect, CA Session Manager, and CA Spool
  • Understanding of mainframe infrastructure, architecture, and design
  • Experience using BMC AMI tools such as AMI OPS Automation, AMI OPS Monitors, or AMI Output Management
  • Ability to provide technical leadership, manage projects or programs, and communicate with stakeholders
