Description

  • Build, test, and deploy high-performance Java applications and services.
  • Lead enterprise application development with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
  • Work with architects, business analysts, product owners, and development teams.
  • Turn business needs into technical solutions through requirements analysis.
  • Create REST APIs and connect third-party systems and services.
  • Produce clean, maintainable, well-documented code.
  • Review code and assess security.
  • Investigate, debug, and fix production issues.
  • Improve application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decisions.
  • Build CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps practices.
  • Follow coding standards, security guidance, and organizational policies.

Requirements

  • Hold an active Secret clearance and be eligible for Top Secret clearance.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
  • Bring at least 10 years of hands-on Java software development experience.
  • Have strong skills in Java 11/17+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Hibernate/JPA.
  • Have experience designing and building microservices applications.
  • Know REST APIs, JSON, and web services well.
  • Have worked with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  • Have experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
  • Have experience working with Agile/Scrum methods.
  • Have used a cloud platform such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Have experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Have worked with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
  • Know Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
  • Have built applications that meet NIST 500-53 and FedRAMP controls for moderate and high security categorizations.
  • Have experience with Tenable, SonarQube, and OWASP practices.
  • Be familiar with Splunk, ELK Stack, Grafana, or Prometheus.
  • Be proficient with Git and version control.
  • Know Java, SQL, and JavaScript.
  • Have experience with Maven, Gradle, and Jira.
  • Preferred: experience with Thales Luna HSM, Azure Managed HSM, cryptography, PKCS#11, JCE/JCA Providers, key escrow, key rotation, secure key storage, and troubleshooting PKI, certificate, HSM, or cryptographic integration issues.
