Description

  • Lead frontend development for Faros’s engineering intelligence platform.
  • Partner with designers and backend engineers to deliver a smooth user experience.
  • Improve frontend performance and accessibility.
  • Integrate open-source solutions into the product.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and update software components.
  • Test and validate software for performance and reliability.
  • Keep current with frontend development tools and practices.
  • Mentor junior frontend engineers.
  • Review code submitted by external contractors.
  • Build software that helps engineering teams assess AI’s impact on software delivery and helps AI agents work with greater accuracy, relevance, and trust.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • At least five years of frontend development experience.
  • Experience with modern web frameworks; Next.js and React are preferred.
  • Strong CSS knowledge.
  • Strong JavaScript or TypeScript skills; TypeScript is preferred.
  • Experience designing and architecting scalable, high-performance frontend solutions.
  • Experience with testing and debugging tools; Jest and Cypress are preferred.
  • Knowledge of software development methods and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, especially in product development.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Leadership and mentoring ability.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS is preferred.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines is preferred.
  • Experience with enterprise authentication and authorization workflows is preferred.
  • Experience with microservices architecture is preferred.
  • Customer-facing experience is preferred.
  • Authorized to work legally in the United States.
  • Willingness to live in or relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area.
