Wireless Radio Validation Engineer
Validate 2G, 4G, and 5G Open RAN radio products through automated RF measurements and cross-functional troubleshooting. The role covers RF subsystem characterization, silicon bring-up, and product conformance.
Description
- Run 3GPP RCT tests and characterize RF subsystems such as PAs, LNAs, filters, CFR, and DPD with Keysight or R&S equipment.
- Create measurement workflows for EVM, ACLR, sensitivity, noise figure, spectral emissions, and linearity.
- Investigate RF issues with hardware, firmware, and software teams to identify root causes.
- Lead silicon bring-up activities.
- Give design teams practical recommendations based on validation results.
- Test 2G, 4G, and 5G radio products, including O-RAN systems.
- Translate the product roadmap into automated test scenarios.
- Maintain product quality and conformance while supporting timely delivery.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of wireless or radio validation experience.
- Experience leading or mentoring six or more engineers.
- Experience owning a complex test plan from start to finish.
- Strong Python and shell scripting skills.
- Working knowledge of C or C++.
- Solid MAC/PHY knowledge of O-RAN, LTE, or 5G.
- Knowledge of automating Keysight or R&S RF equipment.
- Knowledge of RCT and end-to-end scenarios.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes.
- Practical experience applying AI in testing workflows is required.
