Technical Manager, Regression Testing

Description

  • Lead and mentor the Regression team in test design, debugging, and automation.
  • Translate the product roadmap into functional and system-level test scenarios.
  • Set test plans and strategy.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of status.
  • Build and maintain Python test automation frameworks with Pytest or Unittest.
  • Create instrument drivers and measurement applications in Python and MATLAB.
  • Automate Radio Conformance Test (RCT) and end-to-end scenarios.
  • Integrate testing with CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes-based execution.
  • Use AI and machine learning for test generation, log analysis, failure triage, and anomaly detection.
  • Run 3GPP RCT and characterize RF subsystems, including PA, LNA, filters, CFR, and DPD.
  • Develop measurement workflows for EVM, ACLR, sensitivity, noise figure, spectral emissions, and linearity.
  • Investigate RF issues with hardware, firmware, and software teams to identify root causes.
  • Lead silicon bring-up.
  • Give design teams actionable recommendations.
  • Validate 2G, 4G, and 5G radio products, including O-RAN systems, to support quality, conformance, and timely delivery.

Requirements

  • Bring 18 or more years of wireless or radio validation experience.
  • Have led or mentored a team of at least six engineers.
  • Have owned a complex test plan from start to finish.
  • Demonstrate strong Python and shell skills.
  • Have working knowledge of C or C++.
  • Bring solid MAC/PHY knowledge of O-RAN, LTE, or 5G.
  • Have expertise automating Keysight or Rohde & Schwarz RF equipment.
  • Have expertise with RCT and end-to-end scenarios.
  • Be familiar with Kubernetes.
  • Have practical experience applying AI in testing workflows; this is required.
