Senior Software Engineer, Switch and GPU Firmware Verification

Verify firmware for NVIDIA’s next-generation networking switches and GPUs, building C++ and Python processes for pre- and post-silicon development. Work with teams in Tel Aviv and Raanana on products for cloud, high-performance computing, and storage.

Description

  • Join NVIDIA’s InfiniBand Switch and NVLink firmware team in Tel Aviv and Raanana.
  • Help develop next-generation networking products for cloud, high-performance computing, and storage.
  • Build firmware verification processes that meet quality standards and project schedules.
  • Design and implement features in NVIDIA switch and GPU cores.
  • Coordinate project and team planning, scheduling, and delivery.
  • Partner with architecture and software design teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Work across pre-silicon and post-silicon development environments.
  • Build expertise in networking, system debugging, software stacks, and hardware, firmware, and software interactions.
  • Help deliver NVIDIA firmware switching products to customers.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering.
  • At least five years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proficiency in C++ and Python.
  • Experience developing embedded software.
  • Strong analytical, creative, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks amid shifting priorities and changing requirements.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Knowledge of network protocols.
  • Experience with continuous integration methods and tools such as Git, Gerrit, and Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of Linux internals.
