Senior Full Stack Developer Consultant – Allstate, Pune Hybrid

Description
- Design digital products with current tools, technologies, frameworks, and systems
- Use scientific and technical expertise across software design, implementation, testing, and documentation
- Take ownership of applications running in production
- Be accountable for digital product outcomes by delivering against KPIs
- Contribute technical expertise during inception and iteration planning with the product manager
- Join daily site, cross-site, and product team standups
- Participate in retrospectives and promote constructive feedback
- Work with others on high-level and detailed component and system designs
- Contribute to performance optimization and technical review sessions
- Use pair programming and test-driven development practices
- Build and advance continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines and practices
- Support software products in user environments
- Share knowledge and strengthen the team’s collective expertise
Requirements
- 4–10 years of professional experience
- B.E. or B.Tech degree
- Core skills in Java, Spring Boot, React JS, SQL, and test-driven development
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Kafka, and observability tools
- Experience building REST APIs with Java Spring Boot, including Swagger, REST Docs, OpenAPI, versioning, service discovery and registration, testing, and management
- Experience with API gateways and React
- Background architecting, designing, implementing, and delivering large-scale distributed or cloud systems
- Experience working with microservices architectures
- Knowledge of web and API security, including authentication, authorization, OAuth, OWASP, OpenID, and SAML
- Backend and database experience with SQL, caching, and Kafka messaging
- Knowledge of Git, artifact management, and build and packaging tools such as Maven, Gradle, npm, and Artifactory
- Experience with Jenkins or comparable continuous integration tools
- Experience in Agile or paired programming and engineering environments
- Experience applying test-driven development and writing unit tests for end-to-end coverage
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and analyze performance bottlenecks
- Python experience is a plus
