Description

  • Build and maintain complex, large-scale web applications with React and TypeScript
  • Own frontend architecture, including micro-frontends, monorepo tooling, and shared component libraries
  • Establish state management and data-fetching approaches that distinguish server, client, and UI state
  • Shape the design system with UX/UI designers to promote consistency, accessibility, and reuse
  • Connect frontend applications to backend services and APIs while collaborating on contracts, authentication, and data models
  • Improve web performance through rendering optimization, code splitting, bundle-size reduction, and Core Web Vitals
  • Maintain strong standards for security, accessibility, internationalization, and browser compatibility
  • Establish frontend testing practices spanning unit, integration, visual regression, and end-to-end testing
  • Support build tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Promote responsible use of AI-assisted frontend development workflows
  • Mentor engineers, lead code reviews, and guide technical decisions across teams

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • At least 6 years of professional frontend development experience, including leadership of technical initiatives
  • Expertise in React hooks, context, concurrent rendering, Suspense, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript
  • Extensive experience with state management and data-fetching tools such as Redux Toolkit, RTK Query, Zustand, MobX, TanStack Query, or XState
  • Experience creating and maintaining design systems or component libraries using tools such as Storybook, design tokens, and theming
  • Experience with micro-frontend architectures and scalable frontend codebases, including Nx or Turborepo monorepo tooling
  • Strong command of modern build and bundling tools, including Vite and Webpack
  • Practical knowledge of web performance profiling and optimization, including memoization, virtualization, lazy loading, and Core Web Vitals
  • Experience integrating REST or GraphQL APIs, WebSockets, and OAuth 2.0 or OpenID Connect authentication
  • Strong understanding of WCAG accessibility requirements and web security practices covering XSS, CSRF, and CSP
  • Experience with Jest or Vitest, React Testing Library, and Playwright or Cypress
  • Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor, with a responsible team-use approach
  • Experience mentoring engineers and contributing within agile teams
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Frontend observability or error-tracking experience with tools such as Sentry or OpenTelemetry is an advantage
  • Experience with SSR frameworks such as Next.js or Node.js is an advantage
