Senior ETRM Analyst, Position Reporting – AES Clean Energy (Onsite)

Senior Analyst supporting ETRM systems, trade capture, exposure modeling, risk reporting, and commercial tools for AES Clean Energy. This full-time onsite role supports teams in Houston, Salt Lake City, or Louisville.

Description

  • Support and deliver information systems for AES Clean Energy’s commercial organization
  • Administer and support the ETRM platform for the business unit and its users
  • Coordinate new ETRM functionality with corporate IT
  • Help commercial teams book deals and assets
  • Model commercial exposures in the ETRM platform
  • Investigate ETRM issues and produce related reports
  • Coordinate ETRM-related work with Commercial and IT stakeholders
  • Build and maintain tools for position and market monitoring
  • Partner with Product Control to support commercial operations
  • Capture and validate trades in collaboration with trading teams
  • Provide live support and troubleshoot issues for commercial, risk, and finance teams
  • Develop and improve customer applications to meet contractual requirements
  • Contribute to data management solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, finance, engineering, sciences, or a related discipline
  • One to two years of relevant experience in the energy industry
  • Experience supporting Energy Trading and Risk Management systems; Allegro experience is desirable
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience using Power BI and other reporting tools
  • Working knowledge of SQL and database querying
  • Experience with HTML, Python, Perl, R, XML, or related technologies is a plus
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical teams
  • Strong communication, organization, and troubleshooting skills
  • Availability for occasional after-hours or weekend support
